Changing the repertoire
This page is for admins, and for whoever holds an office that edits the dances or the music (the offices table says which).
Retiring a dance
To retire a dance, untick In the repertoire on its edit screen, rather than removing it.
It drops to the band at the bottom of the grid. Everybody’s answers about it are kept, so it can come back later.
Positions
With Positions on, everybody can answer for each place in the set as well as for the whole dance. An admin switches it on from the Features page, under the Admin tab.
It only works for a dance with a number in Dancers in a set, on its edit screen.
Describing dances and tunes
Each dance is described by its tradition and type. You choose them on its edit screen.
The lists you choose from are behind the Traditions and types button, at the top of the Dances page beside the zoom.
Tunes are described by tradition, key and time. Keys and times are behind the Keys and times button on the Music page.
Traditions are shared, so dances and tunes use the same list. Renaming Adderbury renames it for both.
Whoever holds the office can add to these lists and correct them. Removing an entry is for an admin only, because it takes that label off every dance or tune that had it.
